The "CS 3000" is a jig set designed to easily and accurately measure compression set as specified by global standards such as ISO 815, DIN 53517, and ASTM D395. Rubber samples are compressed between two parallel plates for a specified time and at a specified temperature, after which they can no longer recover their thickness. This is the compression set test.
